Tell the President "No to Keystone"

The Canadian government is putting considerable pressure on the U.S. to decide on the Keystone XL pipeline. Interfaith Power & Light needs your help immediately to stop the pipeline before it’s too late.

Producing oil from Canada's tar sands emits far more carbon emissions than regular oil, and piping it through the U.S. would endanger farmland, wildlife, drinking water and human lives all along its 1,000 mile route -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and for 50 years into the future if we don't stop it in its tracks.

With the help of those who have signed, we have already had an impact. The Obama administration is delaying its decision on the Keystone XL pipeline until it can review the unprecedented number of public comments it has received, and to allow various agencies the additional time they need based on the uncertainty created by the ongoing litigation in the Nebraska Supreme Court over the pipeline in that state. That means we have have more time to weigh in and make sure the President and Secretary of State John Kerry hear the concerns of the faith community.

Please join Interfaith Power & Light in standing up for Creation and tell the president to oppose this dangerous project.
